The Hack Competition and Workshop on Secure Network Server with BlankOn

Pave the activities facilitated by the discovery of computing technology and the internet. Computers and the Internet allow everything connected quickly making it easier for humans to communicate. Computer (in any form) and the Internet can eliminate the physical boundaries between the countries. With computers and the Internet, people of any race, anywhere, even any level can be associated with faster, broader and more open without bothered by paperwork or bureaucracy.
With computers and the Internet anyway, people do all the work. Work is performed mostly done and stored in the form of electronic data. Scattered data of a general nature to secrets. Back to hacking activities, the core of these activities is to penetrate on a computer network to obtain information stored in these data.
Hack the Server is one of the activities initiated by KPLI (Linux Users Group Indonesia) Bogor. Hack the Server provides an opportunity for users of the operating system to learn more about the security of a computer network. By knowing this, users will understand that expectations do not always satisfied with what has been done in securing computer networks are managed. Because the world is still spinning, science continues to evolve, and the ability of the hackers were getting better from day to day.
As hacking targets, the committee will provide a set of servers or server. Servers are already installed operating system GNU / Linux which has been modified in such a way that has a high security level, by the standards of conduct panitia.Untuk hacking, the committee does not limit the operating system and tools used. The purpose of hacking is to take one file contained on the servers to get through each stage to get through the next stage. See you in the end the committee determine who becomes the winner of this event.
These activities will be conducted on Day Sunday, November 13, 2011 in Bogor Trade Mall 3rd Floor, at 1:00 p.m. to 17:30.
